A Heartwarming Success Story of Community Engagement and Support

The 185th Scout Group is delighted to share the wonderful news of our recent Coffee Morning event, which not only brought together friends, families, and neighbours but also raised over £900 for the group. Held on Saturday 27th April 2024, the Coffee Morning was a testament to the power of community spirit and collective action.

The Coffee Morning, hosted at Burnside Blairbeth Church, was a bustling affair filled with laughter, excitement, and goodwill. Attendees of all ages reveled in a variety of activities and stalls, including baking delights, axe throwing challenges, face painting, and much more. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and homemade treats filled the air, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all.

The success of our Coffee Morning wouldn’t have been possible without the generous contributions and active participation of our community members. From donating baked goods to volunteering their time and skills, each individual played a vital role in making the event a resounding success.

We are thrilled to announce that thanks to the overwhelming support of our community, we were able to raise over £900 during the Coffee Morning. These funds will be channeled towards supporting various initiatives and activities of the 185th Scout Group, ensuring that we can continue to make a positive impact in our community.
