Red Rose 2024: A Summer of Fun and Adventure for the 185th Glasgow Scouts

The 185th Glasgow Scouts had an incredible time at the Red Rose 2024 summer camp, held at the Westmorland County Showground in Cumbria. The group, consisting of 1 Squirrel, 1 Beaver, 6 Scouts, 3 Explorers, and 5 dedicated Leaders, embraced a week filled with outdoor activities, new friendships, and memorable experiences.

Highlights included thrilling days of water sports, climbing, geocaching, and cultural excursions to Manchester. The camp also featured a special Golden Jubilee Party, celebrating 50 years of the West Lancs Scouts. Our participants enjoyed the diverse program, which catered to all adventure levels, and made full use of the fantastic facilities on-site.

With its unique blend of challenges, learning, and fun, Red Rose 2024 proved to be an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
